Rachel's Pork Tenderloin

A simple and savory pork tenderloin recipe for a slow cooker.

This is a slow cooker recipe. With a few tweaks, it can be grilled or baked with a glaze. One of these days I'll write out the different instructions for those methods, but today is not that day.

Ingredients

  1. One pork tenderloin (~ 1lb)
  2. 1tsp garlic powder
  3. 1tsp dried parsley
  4. Salt & pepper to taste
  5. 1/4tsp onion powder
  6. 1/4tsp paprika
  7. 1/3 cup chicken broth
  8. 2tbsp honey
  9. 3tbsp balsamic vinegar
  10. 1tbsp ketchup
  11. 2tsp corn starch

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and corn starch. Pour into slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Rub over the tenderloin and place in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook for 4 hours on low, or until meat thermometer reads 150-160 degrees Fahrenheit.
