Rachel's Pork Tenderloin
A simple and savory pork tenderloin recipe for a slow cooker.
This is a slow cooker recipe. With a few tweaks, it can be grilled or baked with a glaze. One of these days I'll write out the different instructions for those methods, but today is not that day.
Ingredients
- One pork tenderloin (~ 1lb)
- 1tsp garlic powder
- 1tsp dried parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4tsp onion powder
- 1/4tsp paprika
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 2tbsp honey
- 3tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1tbsp ketchup
- 2tsp corn starch
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and corn starch. Pour into slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Rub over the tenderloin and place in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook for 4 hours on low, or until meat thermometer reads 150-160 degrees Fahrenheit.
