GrandMa's Chicken Salad
Amanda's & Abby's favorite version. I usually ditch the water chestnuts.
Ingredients:
- 4-5 chicken breasts - cooked seasoned to taste and chopped into bite-size pieces
 - 8oz can sliced water chestnuts
 - 2 cups celery, chopped
 - 1-2 cups pecans
 - 1lb seedless grapes, red or white, sliced in half
 
Mix together well, then add the following:
- 2-3 cups Miracle Whip (noooo) or Hellman's Mayo
 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
 
Mix together well and pour over chicken mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Additionally, you can add a tiny bit of soy sauce or curry powder if you're feeling it.
We put this on croissants or dinner rolls. Enjoy!
