April 7 - 11 Meal Plan

I hope it's sunny wherever you're reading this; it is here, and it is incredibly welcome after what feels like a month of monsoon rains.

Last week's winner, as it usually is when included in a week of meals, was the Porter Road braised chuck roast. Last week's loser was me, because I forgot to buy any fresh ginger and therefore decided to skip the teriyaki chicken and punt it to this week.

Recipes

  1. Chicken teriyaki with rice and broccoli (I'll use mirin instead of sake fwiw)
  2. Reverse sear steaks with potatoes and the carrots I didn't cook last week
  3. Rice bowls with leftover meats and veggies plus bell peppers

Content

I decided to rename this section because sometimes it will be books, but other times it will be some other type of media and I can't be expected to be consistent so here we are.

Since I included a steak technique, are you in the "rest" or "no rest" camp when it comes to grilling?
